A Lesson U.S. CEOs Can Take To The Bank

It seems that CEOs of US corporations don’t get it. Your company is in financial trouble and you layoff workers and close down plants. At the same time their income  is kept at the level they have become use to. Earning millions of dollars or even hundreds of millions of dollars while your company and it’s employees suffer is short sightedness. Even downright immoral!

An example that all CEOs should follow is that of the CEO of JAL Airlines in Japan. He cut his salary to less than the pilots that fly the planes. He takes the bus to work and eats in the cafeteria like all the rest of the employees. His fortune is tied to that of the company.

Watch this short video and see what should be, and may well have to be the future for heads of companies. Companies that pursue money first without a larger vision of their place in the world are doomed to fail.

We’ve all heard it before. Our issue is discipline. We don’t like the idea of being hemmed in or not having that instant gratification.

Yet we complain about our lack of funds or our inability to get ahead. It’s all quite simple really. Have a plan, work the plan.

Kary Rogney has put together a great post with information you should copy and keep. Then start implementing the plan. There is no way to arrive at a goal without a plan or acting on that plan. He does mention that he’s not going to lecture on getting a Network Marketing business or other ways of creating additional streams of income. But after sitting down with Kary at his home in Oregon I know that he will cover that too. We all need to stretch ourselves and do that 5% more than others around us are doing. It can make all the difference and having more than one source of income is great, if not needed today
